Scottsville Presbyterian Church

Scottsville Presbyterian Church was founded on October 18, 1827. In 2007 we celebrated 180 years of providing a community of fellowship and service to the people of Scottsville.
The beautiful old building was built in 1832. The two-story, brick building is a notable example of the Federal 'Temple' style of church construction which was common in Virginia in the early 19th century. It was the first church building within the corporate limits of the town of Scottsville.
The congregation remains strong and active. Visitors are welcome to see our historic building. The church office is located across the street where you will find the Pastor. Visitors are encouraged to call for appointment to see interior of the church.
