The Stonewall Jackson House in Lexington, Virginia is the only home that Thomas J. "Stonewall" Jackson ever owned. It is where he lived while he taught at the Virginia Military Institute immediately before the Civil War. Come see how Stonewall Jackson's prewar home has been carefully preserved for future generations. The museum shop features items that are of the 19th-century or are related to Jackson, the Civil War, and the local area. The historic garden contains many heritage fruits and vegetables as well as many heritage rose bushes.
