Located in northern Rockbridge County, Wade's Mill is a working water-powered grist mill listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Mill was built around 1750 by Scotsman Captain Joseph Kennedy. The Mill produces a variety of stone-ground flours and the Shop sells bagged flour, mixes, kitchenware and gifts.
The mill is open April through mid-December, Wednesday-Sat 10am-5pm. Sun 1-5pm. (Closed Sundays in June, July, and August.)
