The Williamsburg Regional Library has a variety of resources on the Civil War on the Peninsula. In addition to titles in the both the reference and circulating collections on the Battle of Williamsburg and Civil War in the surrounding areas, Adult Services librarians have put together a notebook on the battle containing articles of interest. The library also has available at the Williamsburg Library building a complete set of the regimental histories of all Virginia regiments created during the war. The library also offers in electronic form on its genealogy computer "The War of the Rebellion: A Compilation of the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies." The library also offers through its subscription to Ancestry.com access to 47 databases relating to the Civil War. Access to Ancestry.com is available only in the library buildings.
