The Great Hall - the main meeting space in Carter Hall.  Beautifully detailed Georgian Style room. Various set up styles available to accommodate groups.
The Great Hall is dominated by the free standing flying staircase, elliptical in shape with simple hand-rail balusters. The 'flying staircase' is the third generation staircase.
The library offers warmth and an appropriate atmosphere for study and reflection. This room can also be used as additional breakout space.
Formal Dining Room. One of two indoor dining options.  All of our mouthwatering food is prepared fresh on-site by professional Chef Oliver from the Village Square Restaurant located in Winchester, VA. Ideal seating 16. Maximum seating 26.
The East Portico overlooking the boxwoods can be used as a formal outdoor dining experience or a down home style BBQ.
The original Carriage House  offers lodging, kitchenette and a cozy lounge.  The lounge can also be used as additional breakout meeting space.
