Eagles Nest is a Virginia Historic Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built around 1685, the estate rests on a bluff above a breathtaking mile-wide stretch of the Chickahominy River just north of where it joins the James River and is convenient to both Williamsburg and Richmond.

Surrounded by a wildlife management area, Eagles Nest offers a rare view of the way life used to be, which is why the area was chosen for the filming of The New World, a drama about the founding of Jamestown in 1607.

The house and grounds, including an expansive lawn overlooking the river, offer a spectacular setting for weddings, receptions, family reunions, corporate outings and other events up to 300 guests.
