Built in 1936, The State Theatre operated as a popular movie theatre until the late 1980's.  A multi-million dollar restoration in the late 1990's turned it into the Washington Metro area's favorite new venue for live music and private events, with a large, open floor plan, original stage, state of the art sound system, and full in-house catering.  With an old-style marquee, you can finally have your name in lights!
