The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown chronicles America's struggle for independence and the formation of a new nation through engaging gallery exhibits, films and outdoor re-creations of a Continental Army encampment and Revolution-era farm. Open year-round, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., closed Christmas and New Year's days.
In addition to daytime touring, the museum offers interesting spaces for after-hours private events.
