The Deltaville Maritime Museum located at 287 Jackson Creek Road and on Mill Creek is dedicated to the exhibition and preservation of the workboats, methods, and history of the Chesapeake Bay's working watermen. After a tragic fire, July, 2012, the museum building is in the process of being rebuilt. The nature park, trails, gardens, and "living shoreline" exhibit are all open. Three historic boats are on the Pierwalk: a full scale replica of John Smith's shallop, the 64' 9 log buyboat, the F.D. Crockett and the Deltaville deadrise, Cooper Hill. All other outside exhibits are open from dawn to dusk and are pet friendly. Check our website for a complete list of current activities.
