This fun and fact filled Civil War Park has something for everyone. Walking trails along Civil War earthworks provide visitors with a relaxing stroll through the beautiful grounds while interpreting the history of the site and the local natural and manmade environment.
The newly refurbished museum tells the story of the Shenandoah Valley in 1864 from the variety of battles and actions that occurred to the hardships women and children endured on the homefront. Numerous displays and artifacts are available for viewing and learning. Video presentations in the new theater offer a place to learn even more.
Tour info: Cedar Creek Battlefield/ Hupp’s Hill Civil War Park is also a partner site within Cedar Creek & Belle Grove National Historical Park.
