Maymont's family-friendly Nature Center is a fun place to get to know the wildlife that lives in and around our area's greatest natural resource, the James River. Otters, turtles and fish frolic in gigantic aquariums amidst lifelike plantings, rockwork and a 20-foot waterfall. The Visitor Center offers displays and a large topographical map to help guests plan their day, and souvenirs are available for purchase. The Robin's Nest offers light lunch options, snacks, souvenirs, and indoor and outdoor seating with outstanding views of the grounds.
