The Science Museum is a fun place for adults and children to explore the wonders of science through hands-on experiences! Permanent galleries enable visitors to learn about weather, the physics of light and sound, geology, and the human body.
Check out our educational and hands-on exhibits including: Healthy Bodies Gallery, Healthy Earth Gallery, How it Works Gallery, Living River and Touch Tank, Open Lab, and our Children’s Curiosity Corner. Explore the reaches of the universe with star shows in Hopkins Planetarium.
Set in an enclosed picturesque setting of lush plants and a serene water feature, the Butterfly Garden offers something new each visit. Each week we import chrysalises from Southeast Asia and Central America. These chrysalises are hung in our emergence case where you can watch them hatch!
