The museum, home of the New River Historical Society, specializes in artifacts circa 1810 to 1865. The complex is a large home and several restored outbuildings including 3 log buildings. Several sections of the main house are also log. The museum features letters, documents, paintings, furniture, photos, business records and objects relevant to the New River Valley and Southwest Virginia. The earliest documents of Pulaski County are stored here due to the proximity of the first county courthouse.
Open mid-March to mid-December from 10:30am to 4:30pm, Tuesday thru Saturday; Small admission fee.
