The gardens and grounds of four historic landmark plantations are open daily for self-guided tours and all four may be visited with the "James River Plantation Gardens and Grounds Pass."

The pass allows admission to Westover-1730, Edgewood -1847, North Bend -1819 and Piney Grove -1790, all located along the Virginia Route 5 Scenic Byway, between Williamsburg and Richmond.

Westover features expansive views of the James River, Piney Grove offers informal gardens and nature trail, Edgewood features a formal garden, and North Bend is set amidst cultivated fields.

Group tours of the interiors may be arranged by calling individual plantations. These sites also offer special event tours throughout the year. Please call individual plantations for event information. All four sites are also official sites of the Jamestown Discovery Trail.
