Kibler Valley is perhaps the most adventurous area of the county. This picturesque and wonderful valley is renowned for its trout fishing and is host to a white water canoe and kayak race which draws competitors to class competition annually. The river is accessible only by the Hydro Plant station at the end of Kibler Valley Road, or if you have a personal agreement with a private property owner.  Interested canoers and kayakers should contact the City of Danville Hydro Plant Water Flow information line to check water levels.
