For a truly unique experience, try llama trekking from Applewood Inn. Let a furry, friendly fellow carry your gear on a two hour guided hike over trails with views of the Blue Ridge, cascading waterfalls, spring wildflowers and spectacular fall folliage. An optional picnic lunch may be enjoyed at the end of the trek from a hilltop picnic table with 360o views. You don't have to be an Inn guest to go on a trek, however the Inn does have wonderful accommodations for those with a love for romance and the outdoors. A dip in the in-ground pool or the hot-tub after a trek is a great way to complete the experience. Inn guests are half price ($12.50)
