While there are many activities to experience on your own in Hot Springs, Natural Retreats Outfitters is the only branded guiding service in the region. We have exclusive guiding rights to over 4 privately held miles of the Jackson River, an exclusive partnership with The Nature Conservancy to lead guided excursions within the 1,400-acre Warm Springs Mountain Preserve, and a prime Main Street, Hot Springs location for The Outfitters retail shop. We offer a wide variety of guided experiences including fly fishing, horseback riding, hiking, and mountain biking.

In spring our fly fishing experience is at its peak and the warming temperatures beckon us all to go outside and play! In summer, the waters of Bath County come alive with kayaking, canoeing around Lake Moomaw and on the tail waters of the Jackson River. In fall, the region bursts alive with an endless vista of colored leaves; making it a perfect time of year for a guided mountain bike ride, a scenic drive through this historic landscape, or an adventurous hike along our more than 100 miles of organized trails. Winter brings families from all over the world to enjoy the holidays in Virginia Hot Springs.
