New Moon Shining Stables, LLC provides the following services:

EAL Therapeutic Equine Assisted Learning Sessions provided by a counselor & licensed special needs teacher for all ages, specializing in working with clients with PTSD, ADHD, Cognitive Disabilities, Emotional Disorders, Orthopedic Impairments, & other special needs. 

Guided Horseback Riding Trips  Tack and equipment and horses provided for up to 4 riders per trip.  Ride through the scenic Heart of Appalachia round wooded trails, by mountain streams, & national forest properties.  We provide guided trips on local Spearhead Trails as well!

Summer Youth Equestrian Day Camps  Ages 7-18 can enjoy week long activities on the farm learning how to care for the horses and responsibilities of a barn.  Campers build lifetime relationships with our horses as they learn to ride safely and respectfully.  Arts and crafts are provided as well as swimming, outdoor activities, & game room fun.  Camps are Monday thru Thursday 9-4 June and July. 

Day Use Facility & Venue can be rented for parties, outdoor activities, reunions, weddings and more.  We have swimming (in season), pool table, fooseball, barnyard fun, badminton, corn hole, & other entertaining games.  When renting the facility for a group, arts and crafts as well as horse riding is available too!
