A certified National Wildlife habitat, Sycamore Hill House & Gardens is the perfect spot for a leisurely stroll -- perhaps you'll see a deer, wild turkey, ruffed grouse or fox, some of the many forms of wildlife on Menefee Mountain.
Specially-designed houses offer the opportunity to view nesting Eastern Bluebirds. The many annual and perennial flower beds, scattered about the property, attract birds, butterflies and other wildlife.
The gardens have been features in Country Inns Magazine and Southern Living. Spring, when the hundreds of dogwood and redbud trees are in bloom, and the meadows full of buttercups, may be the loveliest time of the year on the mountain. It is equally delightful to visit in the fall, when the mountains and fields are painted with the brilliant autumn palette.
