The Tides Inn is the home of the famous and challenging Golden Eagle Golf Club.
For over 25 years, the Golden Eagle has distinguished itself by hosting numerous Virginia State golf Association events. Havily bunkered and with water in play on six holes, the Golden Eagle measures 6,566 yards from the blue tees and has a USGA rating of 70.9 and a slope of 126.
On the main grounds of the Tides Inn rests our complimentary nine hole Par-3 course. Designed by Fred Findley and restored in 1998, this par 27 course features holes 80 to 140 yards long with artificial tee boxes, Bermuda greens, and just enough bunkers to challenge you. With open fairways, the Par-3 course is a great track for young families, senior golfers and those who want to brush up on their short game before visiting the Golden Eagle Golf Club.
