Experience the beauty of the islands of the eastern shore while birding in this unique location that has become a destination for birders. We will go birding at several hot spots on the Eastern Shore. Spring is a good time to see large numbers of migrating shore birds, warblers, and other birds that invade the area. Not only will we explore the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge's restricted back country on Assateague Island. We will also visit Wallops Island to view the shore birds of a pristine beach restricted to the public. This 3 day Road Scholar Learning Vacation is all-inclusive. Meals, Lodging and Equipment are all included in one low cost.
