What: Moonlight or sunrise hiking. Hiking in the off hours is a truly special experience - meteor showers, full moons, towers of summertime lightening off in the distance. This is the time to find those truly special experiences in the mountains. Headlamps, hot chocolate and a late night snack or simple breakfast are included.
Where: The Shenandoah National Park in Virginia. A guide from Shenandoah Mountain Guides (Southern Living Magazine's best adventure provider in the South) will take you to the best trails.
When: Reservations are required. The longer out the better (especially from April thru Nov). Nov-Mar only about 2 weeks notice is needed.
