Eagle Annie's Cottage is a quaint home built in the 1920's in the center of historic New Hampden in Highland County. It is located one mile south of the center of Blue Grass on Rt. 640. Across the road is the South Branch of the Potomas River, with stocked trout waters. There is one bedroom with queen-sized bed, dining room, living room with pull-out full-size futon and fully-equipped kitchen. Guests can relax and dine on both the front and back porches. Washer/dryer is provided, as well as internet access. Linens and towels provided. The cottage is located on the Virginia Birding and WIldlife Trail, in close proximity to many good birding areas. Owner is a birder and will provide information on areas to see birds. Also close to Laurel Fork hiking trails. Great for biking and motorcycles. Great getaway for nature enthusiasts and artists.
