Glencarin Manor was built in 1842. During the Civil War, the home served as a haven to all who sought shelter. Its high ceilings and glowing fireplaces still reflect the charm and natural beauty of this lovely old home. Though located in the City of Bristol Virginia, almost five acres of lawns and huge old trees gives a feeling of isolation and peace. Hushed quiet except for the constantly running water in Beaver Creek. Amenities: Four rooms with private bath.

Working fireplaces.

Cable T V.

VCR's in some rooms with "house" movies available.

Individual alarm clocks.

Phones and answering machines in most rooms.

Comfortable parlor and library.

"Chefs choice" breakfast.

Afternoon tea.
