At Graves' Mountain Lodge, we specialize in good "old-fashioned" hospitality. Our family owned and operated mountain retreat is renowned for its delicious home-cooked food using fresh local produce, family-friendly atmosphere, and surroundings unrivaled for natural beauty. There are varied styles of accommodations available here from motels to cottages to cabins. You'll find us nestled deep in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains near the end of the road in Syria, Virginia. Here you're invited to assume a leisurely pace as you enjoy some of life's simpler pleasures. Our wide array of amenities include but are not limited to: hiking, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, picking your own apples, or visiting our family's working educational farm. Pets are welcome in certain accommodations with an applied fee.

Graves' Mountain Lodge is also convenient to many local attractions.  White Oak Canyon and Old Rag Mountain are 15 - 20 minutes away; four vineyards are within a 15-mile radius; and Madison offers unique shopping opportunities, including Plow & Hearth.  The Lodge is a perfect starting point for day trips up Skyline Drive, to Luray Caverns, to Montpelier, or to Monticello.  We'll even pack you a to-go lunch.  After your long day exploring, you can return to a hot meal and gaze at the stars from a front-porch rocking chair.  It doesn't get any more relaxing than this.
