Originally built as a barn in 1895, the Granary was transformed into a beautiful summer home in 1992. Set on the west side of the Jackson River at Meadow Lane, it is one of the prime locations for fly fishing in Virginia and boasts gorgeous views of the mountains, river and meadow. The Granary is the perfect retreat for a family vacation or a group trip as it sleeps up to 8.

The main floor showcases a full kitchen and breakfast nook as well as seating for 16 at the beautiful carved dining room table. Upstairs opens to a cathedral ceiling and Great Room with a wood-burning fireplace and mini bar. A spacious, furnished deck provides the perfect environment to enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner on the grill while relaxing from a full day of fly-fishing.

The Granary has access to the pool, tennis court and barnyard which is a favorite of families with small children, and to the private stretch of the Jackson River, which is renowned for providing some of the best trout fly fishing on the east coast.
