Raccoon Creek Lodge is part of Raccoon Creek Sports, located on 2,100 acres of rural Southampton County land on the scenic Nottaway River. The Raccoon Lodge is in a very remote area with opportunities for bird watching, hiking, kayaking, conoeing and hunting. Notable are the state-champion trees, such as Red Maple and Cyprus. The one-story, two bedroom lodge can accommodate up to 6 people. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner can be provieded, or you can cook your own meals in the spacious kitchen. Southampton County has a large deer population, with many trophy size bucks. Deer, turkey, rabbit, bear, bobcat, fox, and coyote can be seen on the property as well as dove and quail. Eagles, red cockaded woodpecker and many other birds are native to the area. We are located near Courtland, Franklin and Colonial Williamsburg/Jamestown - a ferry ride away.
