Tucked into the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains on 50 acres in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley lies Steeles Tavern Manor Bed and Breakfast. Inn-keepers Melissa and Ray Alexander invite you into our 1916-built Virginian manor house located in a beautiful rural location half way between the historic towns of Staunton (15 miles north) and Lexington (16 miles south) and two miles east of I81 Exit 205..
The Inn offers five guest rooms and suites with gas or electric fireplaces and private baths with double Jacuzzi tubs. The Inn's décor has a relaxed winery theme with each guest room named for wine varietals native to Virginia.
Start your day with our early morning coffee before enjoying our hearty, plated breakfasts made with many local ingredients. Your day can include one or more of the activities in our area or roam the grounds to enjoy views of our pond, cattle grazing in our hillside pasture, the rolling stream or our in-ground swimming pool. Feel free to relax and enjoy warm hospitality during our complimentary early evening social hour at our wine bar, featuring Virginia wines along with snacks or appetizers. Top the evening off with dinner at one of the many restaurants just minutes away in Lexington or Staunton.
