Situated just one hour west of Washington, DC at the cross-section of routes 50 and 17 in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains is The Ashby Inn in the charming village of Paris (pop 70). Built in 1829 and converted to a country inn in 1984, the main inn offers six large guest rooms. An additional four guest suites at a converted 1895 schoolhouse, located sixty paces from the main inn, are perfect to relax in front of a warm fire with a glass of handcrafted port. Upon arrival you will find a complimentary sampling of handcrafted port made exclusively for us, by Vint Hill Craft Winery.
