If only these walls could talk...The historic Buckhorn Inn has been serving travelers since it was built in 1811. Our most famous visiter, Thomas (Stonewall)Jackson stopped here in 1854 on a pleasure trip; and again later after the Battle of McDowell when The Buckhorn Inn was used briefly as an army hospital. Now The Buckhorn Inn is a 5 room Bed & Breakfast. A great place for family staycations (we love to have kids since we have three of our own), couple gettaway's and a perfect place to host weddings, receptions, reherseal dinners and other special events.
