The Guest House at Walnut Grove is a restored 1740’s house located on the grounds of an antebellum plantation, Walnut Grove, listed on the Virginia Landmarks Register and the National Register of Historic Places. It is surrounded by farmland with beautiful views and sunsets, and seasonal gardens contribute to the site's beauty. The Guest House is equipped with heat and A/C, has a full bath and is appointed with period antiques and reproductions. A fully equipped kitchen is available to guests opting to prepare their own meals; a surcharge is added for this option. The privacy of the Guest House makes it ideal for guests seeking a peaceful, rural experience. Close by are Lake Anna, Civil War Battlefields and wineries. Within easy driving distance there are other historic sites as well as restaurants and shopping. Tennis court on site. The rate for one couple is $110 per day, including State and Local taxes. Breakfast is included. Payment is by cash or check. Because of the historical nature of the property, pets and small children are excluded.
