A Beautiful Queen Anne Mansion built by J. A. Gill a wealthy influential merchant circa 1891. The mansion is constructed of a natural fired brick of the times and is no longer manufactured. There are nine fireplaces all individually decorated with ceramic tiles. Guests are allowed to laze about with lemonade in the summer or cuddle with warm cider in the fall in the porch swing on our wraparound porch. The mansion has been operated as a B&B/Inn since the late 1980s. It is located in historic Old Towne Petersburg and is renowned for its cornucopia of historic architecture. Restaurants, Civil War sites, antiques, museums, shops, the Appomattox River walk, and the farmer's market are all a tree lined stroll away. Innkepers Tina & Eddie Bertenshaw.
