The Virginia Cliffe Inn is nestled among the trees in the settlement of Glen Allen, twelve miles north of Richmond, Virginia. The six acre grounds front on historic Mountain Road - the path Thomas Jefferson traveled on his trips from Charlottesville to Richmond and Williamsburg. A light breakfast is served each morning at 7 a.m. for early risers and a full breakfast follows at 8:30 a.m. with a large selection of home cooked food.
The Virginia Cliffe Inn is one mile east of Meadow Farm - a living history museum of a Virginia farm in the 1800s. Ten minutes south is the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden at Bloemendaal - a must-see garden with many exotic and foreign species as well as Virginia native plants. Fifteen minutes north is the Kings Dominion theme park in Doswell.
