The Norfolk Electric Transit or NET is the premiere transportation link for residents, visitors, shoppers, commuters and downtown Norfolk. This free commuting service is provided by the City of Norfolk and operated by the Hampton Roads Transit (HRT).

The NET is an integral part of the City’s ongoing effort to link Norfolk’s many downtown attractions with parking facilities.
