As the official State Center for Blue Ridge Folklore, the Blue Ridge Institute & Museum stocks its museum store with hard-to-find, traditional Appalachian crafts--split-oak baskets, handwoven rugs, wrought iron, folk art, and much more. Explore the rich fabric of regional folkways through an array of music recordings and books. Show your heritage with BRI hats, Crooked Road t-shirts, and the ever-popular glow-in-the-dark moonshine t-shirts. (Open Mondays through Saturdays year-round; additional Sunday hours June through August. Closed on college holidays.)
