Come visit our orchard/farm that has been in the family since England's King George granted the land to our family in 1752. Yes, it's true, our family has been farming this land for over two centuries. Dickie Brothers Orchard is on Virginia's "Century Farms" list. We grow about 100 acres of apples, with about 15 different varieties. Nestled against the eastern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the cool mountain air gives our apples great color and excellent flavor. Enjoy the view from our orchard when the fall foliage is in full color and the apples are fresh on the tree. Harvest begins early August and ends late October.
