The Eastern Shore Art League, founded in 1977, opened its present Eastern Shore Art League Gallery in 2011 at 59 Market Street, also the home of Market Street Framers, in the historic town of Onancock on Virginia's Eastern Shore. The co-op gallery features twenty (20) artists of the Eastern Shore Art League.
The art works include paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolor plus mixed media, drawings, photography, wood cuts, small original crafts and jewelry. Most of the works are originals. Giclees, prints, and cards are also available. All works are for sale and change frequently as artists bring in new works through out the year.
From April to December we participate in Onancock's Second Friday Art Walk from 5p-8p, with light refreshments served. Our themed display changes for each Second Friday. The gallery accepts Visa, Master Card and Discover. Onancock is located about midway between the VA/MD State line to the North and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to the South. Onancock features several restaurants besides it's little shops and galleries. For more information about the Art League and the Art League gallery visit our web site: www.esartleague.org
