Enjoy the alpacas, the views and the shopping! Our family farm located at Mile Post 204 on the Blue Ridge Parkway offers an opportunity to see these unique, ecologically friendly, fiber producing animals up close and to shop for a variety of items made from their luxurious fleece. You have to feel it to believe how soft it is.
We sell locally made hand crafts and art, as well as fair trade certified items from Peru, the original home of alpacas. Come see our wide selection of alpaca sweaters, socks, scarves, shawls, toys, patterns, yarns and rovings. We also offer fiber art classes throughout the year. Contact us to learn more about creating with alpaca fiber and yarn in our classes in weaving, crochet, knitting, spinning, and felting.
Our farm is open, free of charge. Apr-Dec: Mon-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 1-5pm. Winter open Fri-Sun.
