We are a family owned and operated business located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. In business for 35 years, our orchard is located on approximately 40 acres with breath taking views of the Valley. We grow over 20 varieties of Apples and we process our famous apple cider on the premises and is available for sale in our Country Market. Generally, apple season begins in early August and runs thru the end of November.

After a brief rest, Greenhouse Season gets underway in early April. We feature plants that are grown in our 38,000 sq. ft. cacility. From cegetables, bedding plants, patio planters to perennials, we take pride in the care our plant material receives. In the spring, we offer numerous seminars featuring our highly popular "Make It, Take It" container class.

The Old Hill Cidery is a recent addition to Showalter’s Orchard, where Shannon and Sarah’s family have been growing apples on their Old Hill for more than 40 years. Tastings Wednesday-Saturday 10-5 or by appointment.
