In the Smith Mountain Lake area of Southern Virginia, we offer guided interactive tours on our 40 acre farm near the Lake,  Historic & State Parks with beach/ boating facilities. Wineries and the magestic mountains surround us here on our farm, where you"ll enjoy the gentle atmosphere of roaming alpacas you can feed, and maybe hold their babies!

Guided walking tours: includes the history of the alpacas, importance to the textile industry, and the family farm industry!  Learn the ways of alpaca, their gentle nature and luxurious fleece properties, from fiber to fashion. Products sold in the Little Red Barn Gift Shop!  Luxurious Sweaters, Vests, socks, scarves, Alpaca- filled pillows for healthy sleeping, and even Pendleton Alpaca Blankets, made from our fleeces! 

Home to prize winning bloodlines. Hands- on Interactive Alpaca tours available for all ages.
