Opening day will include a cow, a goat, a pony, chickens and other farm animals to entertain children and adults alike! The Market is an open-air gathering place offering fresh, locally-grown foods, value-added products and hand-crafted goods. Held beneath an open air pavilion directly behind the Suffolk Visitor Center , the market will operate rain or shine on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 7p.m. through September. The market and associated special events relating to farm life, gardening, nutrition and ecology are family oriented and free of charge.
