Busch Field boasts a seating capacity of 2,271 and a computerized lighting system which makes night games possible. The 120 x 75-yard playing surface combines a two-inch poured pad with AstroTurf grass which is tacked down, rather than cemented, making the mini-stadium unique in the United States. The facility was nominated as one of Athletic Business Magazine's top-10 national designs. Located next to the artificial turf is an irrigated natural grass area.
