Come experience the best that Rockbridge County has to offer!

Day 1
Visit the amazing Natural Bridge of Virginia, both a Natural Wonder and Historic Landmark site that captured the imagination of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. Tour the caverns, explore the nature trail and visit with the Monacan Indians. In the afternoon, both young and old will be delighted by the Virginia Safari Park where you can feed 950+ exotic animals. Don't miss the free flight aviary, Tiger Territory, Kangaroo Walk-about, Petting Area, Giraffe Feeding Station and more! Relax in the early evening before taking an evening tour of Lexington with the Haunting Tales - Lexington Ghost Tour. This fun tour takes you through side streets and back alleys and shows you a unique side of the historic town.

Day 2
Head to Boxerwood Gardens Nature Center which covers 31 acres with at least 6 identifiable habitats. Children can visit the Nature Play Trail where the only rules are to "get dirty", "make noise" and "have fun"! In the afternoon, change into bathing suits for a memorable trip tubing/canoeing/swimming along the James or Maury River. No experience neccessary to have a wonderful time! Finally, choose between a competitive Rockbridge Rapids baseball game with top college players or a visit to Hull's Drive-In Movie Theater - one of the few remaining drive-in theaters in Virginia.
