Day 1 | Virginia Beach
AM – Go on an Animal Adventure or Marine Mystery at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center for up-close encounters with unique and unexpected animal ambassadors. Grab lunch at Rudee's.
PM – Discover The Sound of Freedom at Naval Air Station Oceana master jet base.
Day 2 | Hampton
AM – Head to the Virginia Air & Space Museum to launch a rocket or pilot a shuttle.
PM – After lunch at a downtown cafe, visit the Casemate Museum at Fort Monroe, the largest stone fort in the U.S. Cruise the Hampton harbor aboard the Miss Hampton II. Enjoy the evening at Virginia Beach's Town Center for dinner and Backstage Broadway at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts.
Day 3 | Newport News
AM – Cross the James River by way of the Monitor/Merrimac Bridge-Tunnel, site of the famed ironclads' battle. Learn all about it at The Mariners' Museum at the nation's premier Civil War attraction, the USS Monitor Center.
PM – Visit the Virginia Living Museum to check out Virginia wildlife. Spend some time at another Civil War site, Lee Hall Mansion for living history during the 1862 Peninsula Campaign. Return to Virginia Beach and enjoy a Boardwalk Food Tour.
Day 4 | Portsmouth
AM – Cross the Elizabeth River to check out your athletic skills at the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame. Pay tribute to America's oldest Naval Shipyard at the Naval Shipyard Museum and visit the Lightship Museum, built in 1915.
PM – Get out on the water for a Virginia Beach Dolphin Watching Boat Trip. Enjoy the evening with a WWII-era SwingTime in the Skies dinner, high-flying songs and entertainment at the Military Aviation Museum.
Day 5 | Norfolk
AM – Visit Nauticus, an interactive maritime science center and tour the USS Wisconsin, the last and largest battleship built by the U.S. Navy.
PM – Board the American Rover Tall Ship Cruises or the Spirit of Norfolk to tour Norfolk's waterfront and view the Atlantic Fleet. Return to Virginia Beach to sightsee on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel, one of the seven engineering wonders of the modern world. Enjoy dinner in the middle of the Bay at the Chesapeake Grill.
