Baseball fans like you can easily visit the D.C. area and catch a game at Nationals Park. While you're in town, take a quick Metro ride from the park and check out some of these Arlington must-see-spots for sports fans:
Carpool is the spot for sports fans with some Natitude in Ballston. With 30 TVs, including two 120-inch big-screens and 23 plasma big-screens, you're guaranteed a good viewing point while you enjoy a beer, grab a bite to eat, and even try your hand at pool, Skee-Ball, shuffleboard, or darts while you watch.
In Crystal City, the Crystal City Sports Pub is a favorite for big games. There are more than 100 TVs in the 3-story venue, plus pool, foosball, Silver Strike bowling, OTB, and more. You're sure to run into fellow fans here!
Step away from the crowds at Nationals Stadium and grab a brew and burger while you watch the game at Capitol City Brewing Company in Shirlington, where you can mingle with fellow fans and try some local microbrews. (Note: if there are some in your group who, for some reason, aren't fans of the game, there's plenty of shopping just outside the doors.)
Need a teensy break from baseball? Check out the home of the Washington Capitals – right here in Arlington! The Kettler Capitals Iceplex in Ballston is the practice center for the Caps – and you can step in and watch the guys practice before home games during the NHL season. You can even take the ice yourself!
And that's just the beginning! Arlington is a great spot for sports fans – during playoff season or anytime!
