Day One PM Invite the Doorway Singers to perform a Dickens’ Christmas at Rockafeller’s. Afterwards cruise the boardwalk for a spectacular view of Holiday Lights at the Beach.
Day Two AM Enjoy a breakfast of fluffy pancakes at Pocahontas Pancake House. Visit the Virginia Aquarium tour Restless Planet. PM Lunch at Lynnhaven Fish House with great views of the Chesapeake Bay. Then visit Adam Thoroughgood House and France Land House, decked out for the Holidays. Enjoy a pre-show dinner at Town Center offering a variety of choices, like Bravo, McCormick & Schmicks, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse or Sonoma Wine Bar & Bistro. Take part in Backstage Broadway or Behind the Curtain at the Sandler Center. An amazing hands-on visit to a professional production rehearsal or a visit backstage after the performance.
Day Three AM After breakfast at Doc Taylor’s, on to The Great Create for a tour the Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art gaining a new appreciation for the contemporary arts. CBN, tour the state of the art studio and join the audience for a taping of “The 700 Club”. Enjoy a holiday lunch at Swan Terrace in the Founder’s Inn. PM Visit Hunt Club Farm Winter Wonderland, enjoy the sparkle of the Christmas Barn Toy Shop and Christmas Farm Market. For dinner savor the taste of our fresh coastal cuisine with Taste of the Bay at the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center. Then on to Norfolk Botanical Gardens for their holiday lights display.
Day Four Breakfast in your hotel, then enjoy the Surfman Chronicles at the Old Coast Guard Station, hear the tales of shipwrecks and rescues. Last minute Holiday shopping at Hilltop offering boutiques and premium goods or Lynnhaven Mall, one of the largest malls on the east coast.
