Day One: In Afton, visit Wayfarer Forge and Judd Jarvis Ceramics. Stop by Afton Mountain Vineyards, Veritas Winery or Cardinal Point Winery for wine tastings. 2 Arts Studios and Gary Dalton, Fine Furniture Maker, Ideas on Legs, Rockfish River Pottery, and Nan Rothwell Pottery are next. Visit Wild Wolf Brewery in Nellysford for lunch, then Heaven and Earth Acres Farm for produce, Hill Top Winery for fruit wines, or stroll the Rockfish Valley Loop Trail. Nelson Farmers Market is Saturday May-October. Visit Valley Green Gallery for local artisan works and Devils Backbone Brewery for dinner and award-winning craft beer. Stay at The Mark Addy Inn, Rockfish Valley Farm Guest House, Royal Oaks or Wintergreen Resort.
Day Two: Start at Mountain Vision Pottery, K Robins Designs, Tye River Pottery or Sticks, Roots and Cudgels. Visit Dickie Brothers Orchard or Saunders Brothers Farm Market. Then, visit Oakland Museum, Muddy Creek Pottery. Buck Creek Pottery, Alberene Soapstone or Waltons Mountain Museum in Schuyler. Stay at Harmony Hill B&B or Rock-n-Creek Cabin.
