Immerse your senses in Prince William and Manassas by exploring our winery and numerous wine and spirit specialty stores.
Day one: Begin with a day at The Winery at La Grange. Nestled at the foothills of the Bull Run Mountains, the winery features stunning views and a manor house that dates back to the 1790s. Enjoy your tasting in the 18th-century home then snuggle into a chair by the fireplace or take a bottle outside for a picnic. The winery produces Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, Norton and Merlot. Continue testing your palate with a visit to Cork & Fork, a family owned business that features international wine and beer. The store hosts weekly wine and beer tastings and special wine seminars throughout the year.
Day two: Visit The Opera House Gourmet in Old Town Manassas for wine, cheese, chocolate and other specialty food items. Every weekend the store hosts wine tastings and you can also sign up for Opera House's wine of the month club. Shop at all the unique stores in Old Town before grabbing dinner and drinks at City Square Café, Monza or one of the other local restaurants.
Day three: Finish your wine and spirits tour in historic Occoquan. Start at Ye Olde Dominion Wine Shoppe, which hosts free wine tastings daily and special tastings on Saturday that include a visit from a Virginia winery. The store features wines from more than 60 Virginia wineries as well as beer, chocolate and gourmet food. Hop next door to Tastefully Yours, which offers beer and wine tastings on weekends. For lunch, dine and drink at the Cock & Bowl. Tucked away on one of the alleys in Occoquan, the restaurant mimics a European bistrot with Belgian beer, frites and seafood. The restaurant features 50 different Belgian brews that are each served in a specially designed glass.
