More than 40 varieties of Apples and Peaches are grown in Nelson County. In June get pre-picked Peaches at Critzer Family Farm, Drumheller's Orchard, and Saunders Brothers Orchard. At Edible Landscaping, discover plants and trees that produce edible food – berries, nuts, fruits and herbs.
Pick-your-own Apples at Dickie Brothers Orchard and load up on fresh-picked apples at all the orchards in the fall. Varieties include Gala, Red/Golden Delicious, Empire, Rome, Stayman, Jonagold, Pippin, Pink Lady ®, Fuji varieties and more. Plus, look for apple butter, cider, honey, jams, pumpkins and fresh fall produce. Celebrate the harvest at Drumheller's Orchard Apple Festival or the Apple Butter Makin' Festival at Silver Creek & Seamans' Orchard.
