Visit the gallery, studio and printmaking workshop of landscape artist Frederick Nichols. Nichols' paintings and silkscreen prints have been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout this country and abroad for over 25 years, most recently at the 2005 International Biennale in Florence, Italy, and the international exhibition, "Renascence," a commemoration of the 1995 Kobe earthquake, at the Hyogo Museum of Art in Japan.
Across the street from Nichols Studio, in a historic building that once housed the Barboursville Hotel, is Nichols Gallery Annex. The Changing exhibits feature paintings and original prints by this regions finest artists, including Ron Boehmer, Rob Browning, Pat Cook, Frank Hobbs, Gray Dodson, Philip Koch, Raoul Middleman, Lindsay Nolting, Tom Tartaglino, and others.
